Kennedy has been telling stories since she could tie her shoes. She tells stories today through her blog,  creating marketing and sales campaigns, and in her university studies in English and Professional Writing.

Kennedy has conducted user experience research on and designed webpages and mobile apps for small and medium-sized businesses.

  • She conducted UX research on and built a new iteration of the public transportation mobile app for Fargo, North Dakota.

  • She designed and re-built a 13-page website for Grand Farm, a growing AgTech startup initiative.

  • She designed and built this portfolio and blog writing platform.

Content Creator.

Kennedy works closely with startups, non-profits, foundations, and university clubs to tell their stories and bolster their marketing efforts.

  • She assisted in creating and promoting a TikTok hashtag for @GivingHeartsDay that gained over 200K views in two weeks. 

  • She developed a social media content calendar with Notion that supported a $26 million charity fundraiser.

  • She managed digital content production for a student team promoting The Nice Center, NDSU's Entrepreneurship Center
  • She created a kombucha brand for a course assignment compete with logo and packaging elements.

Kennedy uses Notion, a no-code organization website that acts as a "giant organization whiteboard" for both teams and personal use.

 

She created ND's Giving Hearts Day's social media content schedule using Notion! 

She also plans her academic and personal life with Notion.

Community Leader.

She is a

Community Leader.

As co-president of NDSU's Entrepreneurship Club during the 2021-22 school year, Kennedy strove to foster a community of innovative thinkers and create successful strategies to connect students with professionals in the community.

  • She worked collaboratively to grow NDSU's Entrepreneurship Club from no members to 30-40 consistent monthly members over six months

Currently, she uses her experience in the young entrepreneur community in Fargo-Moorhead to create communication and digital marketing material to educate students and increase membership.

 

 

 

She is passionate about connecting people through faith, and she utilizes her position as an NDSU Chi Alpha Small Group Leader to bring people together and create a safe place for students' personal growth and in their relationship with God and others.

She is a

Cultural Communicator

Her cross-cultural experiences in Fargo, Minneapolis, Spain, Guatemala, the Czech Republic, and many other places has given her a global communication perspective. She uses her fluency in Spanish that she developed during a study abroad to Spain during Summer 2022 to foster diverse relationships within her community, make interesting friends, create marketing material in Spanish, and bring the whole world to her small corner of it.
